Fiat Lux Capital Management started from a desire to create an environment of excellence in our community where the focus was not just on the clients money, but on the mission of the client. What is it that you dreamed of as a child? We are convinced that that dream will give you a clue as to where to start.
As is so often the case, many have their mission stomped out at some point for one reason or another, usually before it can be even recognized. But when people have aligned themselves with pursuing their mission, they are visibly more joyful, filled with life. Who wouldn't want that? The question is, can one's mission be awakened or revitalized?
Our founder had a pivotal question asked of him that revitalized his; "if you had $35,000,000 that someone gave to you to spend on a cause of your choice, what would you do?" We think your mission isn't dead, as it wasn't for our founder, but it does require some work, some financial planning. And that's where we come in.
Its hard to take steps toward a greater tomorrow if we don't even know where we are walking. Shining a light in the dark corner of your life reveals reality the way it is, not the way we may perceive it to be. And it also might just light up the path that takes you toward your mission.

Our Team
Nicholas Mowry
Founder & Financial Advisor
Nicholas has been working in the financial services for five years with a majority of his time working & learning the craft under a highly-experienced financial advisor.
Nicholas is a man of many passions including racing, architecture, homesteading, Christian philosophy, pipe smoking, and classical music. He played viola at a high, professional level for many years and learned an intimate knowledge of what it means to live excellently. Ask about what you want, but don't get him talking about his 86% rule, or you won't hear the end of it.
More than that, Nicholas would consider himself a family man as he has been married to his wife, Mary, for six years and is the father of two young girls, with another baby on the way.
The Mowry's currently live in Kenosha and are active parishioners at St. Anne's in Pleasant Prairie.
Kaylee Strasser
Administrator
Kaylee Strasser is a 2019 graduate of Waterford Union High School and earned her Finance degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (UWW) in December 2022. Community is at the heart of both her professional and personal life. Kaylee began her career at Lauer Financial in the fall of 2022 and continues her work alongside Nicholas at Fiat Lux. She also serves as the Administrator for the Waterford Waterways Management District, has been a dedicated volunteer for Waterford River Rhythms since high school, and leads a summer walking club for the local distillery.
Outside of work, Kaylee enjoys spending quality time with her fiancé, family, and friends, whether sharing a meal or an intellectual debate. A firm believer in frugality and gratitude, Kaylee finds joy in life’s simple pleasures and thanks God every day for her many blessings.
